Rebeca Ortega:  Silences

Silences is directed by renowned dancer Rebeca Ortega, with music composed by the outstanding guitarist, Ramon Ruiz.

From the tradition and avant-garde of flamenco culture, this dance performance is theatrically woven together, accompanied by traditional flamenco musicians, and expressed through the depth of the seguiriya, the femininity of the guajira, the intensity of the farruca, and the rhythms of the jaleos and bulerías.

In a world filled with internal dialogues and an excess of noise and information, are we truly in control of our decisions? Often, we are overwhelmed by anxiety, hindering our mental calm. As a result, there arises a need to reflect on the value of silence in our society, in a flamenco piece full of passion, strength, and elegance.

Having sold out previous visits, this is a welcome return to The Flavel from Rebeca Ortega.

Come join us for an unforgettable evening of passion and rhythm at the Flamenco Dance Show - 'Flamenco from Spain' presented by the talented flamenco dancer from Malaga, Rebeca Ortega and UK leading flamenco guitarist and composer from Granada, Ramón Ruiz, accompanied by rooted flamenco singer from Jerez de la Frontera, Carlos Loboand young rising percussionist from London, Sebastian Ruiz.

Get ready to be mesmerized by the fiery footwork and soul-stirring music that will transport you to the heart of Andalusia.
